In today's class, Irene has left us time to make the mocket. We have chosen to go down to the playground and there we  place our axis which is the sun. Then we have calculated 60 meters to place The Earth and The Moon, and finally, we calculated 279 meters to place Jupiter. Firstly to get started with the project we had placing our initial location in the Google Maps application, then we had looked for the distance we needed and then, we have joined that point to take the photos. As materials we have used clay, sheets, markers and a tennis ball. Although at first I did not understand the purpose of the activity very well, at the end of it it helped me a lot to visualize the real distance between the planets. This methodology is also very suitable for children. After all this we continue to see theme 1 and we have ended the class by sharing some solutions to the problem of using reusable cups and bottles when going to a cafe. Some of the solutions were: - Design

Today in class, Irene could not be there, but she sent us work. The consists on making a model of the Solar System. For this we had to use the class to calculate the distances of each planet to the sun and their diameter. We also had to look for materials that were equivalent to those diameters. She explained that the next day in class, we were going to expose the model with the objective of knowing the solar system. We are going to take some photos about this and a video also. The Sun will be a pilates ball (50 cm) The diameters will be the next:                                      The distance from The Sun: - Mercurio: 0,1 cm                                                        2079 cm - Venus: 0,4 cm                                                             3884 cm - The Earth: 0,44 cm                                                     5263 cm - Marte: 0,24 cm                                                           8183 cm - Jupiter: 5cm

Today's class has started doing a thinking routine in the university playground. The activity lasted 15 minutes. In this activity we had to answer 3 questions related to the theme of the universe. The three questions were: - What I see - I think - What I wonder In the first one I replied that I was able to observe the sky, the sun or the plants; I thought "Why does the sun have that height at this time?"; Finally I asked myself "Why do shadows arise?" Then we have gone up to class. In class we have discuss in our groups 3 questions - Where are we? - What is the planet Earth? How does it look like? - How can we know something about the Universe? Some of the answers to the questions that my group and I gave were the following ones: The planet Earth is in the Universe and more specifically it is one of the 8 planets of the Solar System, it is round and it has land and water. Then we put all these ideas in common with the rest of the class. Finally,

We have started the class by reviewing the group identity. Next,  we review all the problems we wrote on the screen the day before. We had to discuss them with our group and choose one of the 3 final options, in a group way. After this election had been put in common with the rest of the class. Our choice was excess of plastic bottles and plastic cups. The teacher asked us why that was our choice, we have to share the reasons with the rest of the class. We explain the reason for that choice like this: "Although none of the 3 depends 100% of us, we think it is the one that can improve the situation the most if it changes. Some of the changes could be: change the glasses of the festivals, maybe the people who want some, can pay 1$ for it, change some things in the fast food restaurants and in schools (like straws, the plastics of the sweets or of the fruits)" When we finish this we begin with the next step: Imagine.  Here we had to put solutions for t
