In today's class we have discussed the exam. Later Irene asked us to make a report that contains a comment about the different difficulties we have had, the facilities or improvements and the objectives. Some of them are:  Difficulties: - We have not found as much information about changes that have taken place in other countries as we expected. Good things: - The organization of the project has been quite good: the planning prior to starting the project has been successfully completed and we have even gone ahead. Objectives: - The project has followed the line of the objectives set before starting the work, so it can be said that they have been met. Also we must include our Instagram´s publications and their statistics.  At the end of the class we make a test on Socrative´s App

In today's class we have continued with the topic of "Ecosystems" Today we have seen the concept of the food chain and its importance. We have seen a video that we have later commented all together. Afterwards, at Acadly we held a conversation related to biodiversity and human viruses (related with the video) Finally, Irene sent us an activity task that I had a hard time assimilating and understanding. The activity consisted of trying to form a food chain in a virtual simulator with the objective that no living being would die.  Despite the fact that as I said previously it cost me a lot, I think I did it.

In today's class, each of us made a comment about the documentary seen before. It has marked me a lot because it shows in a very real way how the planet is, and more specifically the ocean today. We are inadvertently taking over the planet, our home. Then we had a small debate dividing the class in two, commenting on points for and against using plastics and how they affect the environment.  Finally we have put ourselves on the opposite side to the one we had chosen to comment on the different responses of the colleagues.

Today we have also dedicated the class to the project. We have worked in groups and the whole class together and we have also organized the dates in which we are going to make the publications on instragram. Publications are an initiative with which the whole class has agreed to promote the project and that it has a greater scope. All projects deal with quite important and fundamental issues in society and for the planet in general.

Due to the circumstances of the quarantine caused by the Covid-19, our internship has been interrupted, so today we have had our first online class on this subject. Irene has left us the class to reorganize the project. In the case of my group it has been quite affected, so we have had to reorganize it as a whole. We have decided to carry out a project on plastic in supermarkets in Spain. Our previous idea was to carry out a project together with the university cafeteria to try to eliminate the amount of plastics used.

At the end of the class Irene has highlighted some important definitions: - Daily temperature range - Daily mean temperature - Monthly mean temperature - Annual mean temperature - Annual temperature range

Today we started the class reviewing the possible doubts we had when we did the test the day before. Then we have continued with the theme of the atmosphere. Today we saw the different layers it has: - Troposphere - Stratosphere - Mesosphere - Thermosphere The atmosphere has different layers due to different temperatures. Then we talk about the greenhouse effect, a process that occurs naturally and is important for the human species and all living things, because it provides us with oxygen.

Today we started the class doing a brainstorm about what we thought about the moon,  the ideas were: - It's a satellite. - It has gravity. - It rotates around the moon. After that we have seen its characteristics. Then we have analyzed why we only saw one face of the moon and we have tried to answer the question of whether we saw it complete at any time and we have concluded that no, we always only see one face. Then we have seen the phases of the moon and their corresponding names: - Waning crescent - Waning gibbous - Waxing crescent - Waxing gibbous Finally we have finished the class explaining the eclipses. At the beginning it was a bit complex, especially due to the vocabulary that Irene used, but then I managed to understand it. This image has helped me a lot.

Today we have started the part of the unit "Seasons and climate". In today's class we have seen and analyzed important concepts such as Equinox and Solstice, it has been quite difficult for me to understand them since it was the first time that I saw them explained in such depth. - Equinox: same day and night lenght - Solstice: greatest difference between day and night lenght In this picture you can see everything perfectly explained. In order for us to understand it, we performed a dynamic with the flashes of our mobiles, in which depending on the position and distance at which we placed the mobile we can observe the amount of light and illuminated spaces that are in both of them. We also talk about the seasons and how it affects the Earth being placed on an axis. Finally we have mentioned and talked about the coordinate by which the sun arises and depending on it, find out if it is morning or afternoon and what season we are in.
